This kickstand case was designed for ESR, a global tech company in China that provides smartphone and tablet accessories. The company planned to add a new series of products for their brand and decided to develop built-in kickstand phone case products to their product lines. Based on provided specs and the market target, we delivered several iPhone kickstand case ideas through prototyping and 3D printing to verify whether the design meets the objectives.

- The original proposal was designed for the iPhone 7 series, and the design language was also applied to the new iPhone models after that, becoming one of the company's product lines for iPhone protective cases.

Style Meets Convenience
The product was aimed at yuppie men who care about their phone case's appearance compact and stylish but with complete protection and clever function. The design reduces the functional expression and brings modernity into the product. The kickstand is concealed as a splitting decoration, and its transition surface beautifully keeps the overall product size to a minimum.

The built-in kickstand works stablely in both horizontal and vertical angles, helping people enjoy media viewing and video chat.

The design provides dual-layer protection - an external which is made with an impact-resistant PC and reinforced with a TPU enclosure that absorbs shock and is comfortable in the hand.
