NikonThe COOLSHOT 50i GII is Nikon’s 2025 laser rangefinder for golfers, succeeding the previous COOLSHOT 50i. The design goal was to refine the exterior form and ergonomics, while introducing a new design identity for the COOLSHOT series that conveys both robustness and sleek sophistication.

By minimizing excessive contours and ornamentation, the design achieves a sleek yet robust form. It also embodies the new COOLSHOT series design identity, expressed through the side accent line and the front lens ring — both highlighted by the instantly recognizable Nikon yellow accent color.

Ergonomic body with rubber coat for a firm grip
The trapezoidal top form provides a secure hold and allows for intuitive operation. The thumb-contoured indentation enhances holding comfort and more stable measurement. Additionally, a line texture has been applied to the grip area to improve traction and convey a higher sense of quality.
